Weather-wise, last Saturday was pretty miserable. The fine mist coupled with a little wind made for that bone chillin’ cold that takes hours under a warm blanket to shake off. And that’s how you describe the day if you’re not a girls’ lacrosse player or parent of same.
If you are, this is what you see. Six teams came to Indian Creek School’s Upper School fields to play in the first Indian Creek Pre-season Face-off Tournament, and play they did. The fields were a little compromised — wet actually, but these young women didn’t care. They took the challenge. They were ready to play.
