You’re invited to be an eyewitness as the “Mob” bursts onto the stage at Indian Creek School’s 2009 “Broadway Bound.” In its fourteenth year, Broadway Bound is a three week camp for young performers and students interested in the behind the scenes activities of musical theater.
This year founding director/producer Jill Woodward chose Bugsy Malone, Jr. based on music and lyrics by Paul Williams and the book by Alan Parker. The show is a “tongue-in-cheek tribute to the 1920′s gangster flick.” Machine guns are traded in for “splurge blasters” as the cast sings and dances to Muppet Movie composer Paul Williams’ score.
