Well, sort of. The Easter Bunny will be at the AA County fair grounds tomorrow, April 4. He’ll be sitting for photos with the kiddies for a fee. His fleas are over at the huge flea market that will be going on tomorrow, too. In fact, the folks at the Fairgrounds have a whole bunch of activities planned.
They’ve sold over 100 vendor spaces indoors and outdoors. Those of you who like to get your flea-finding moving early can start shopping at 8:00 a.m. and keep going til you run out of steam or 2:00 p.m. whichever comes first.
This is the ninth year for the mega-flea fun. It goes on rain or shine and the great part about it is parking. You don’t have to pull off on the side of a neighborhood road. The grounds has plenty of parking, and it’s free.
A variety of “fleas” will be hopping around: household goods, toys, garden equipment, computers, power tools, electronics, clothing, and more. You’ll find new and used items. They’ll even have party-planning vendors for your next soiree!
We all know that this kind of heavy shopping works up an appetite. Wacky Waldo’s Food Shack will be open fo breakfast and lunch. Face painting, too — you decide if the kids get their faces painted before or after the Easter Bunny photo.
You can make this an educational outing. Crazy Cee Productions will be on stage giving dance demos. Here’s your chance to pick up a few steps! Give ‘em a thank-you shout when you’re there.
